Hi I’m Julie, I’m a pilates teacher + a stress & wellbeing coach and live in the beautiful city of Edinburgh. I developed The Lifetonic Club in response to the number of men and woman I was teaching that were on the verge of burnout as they tried to ‘do it all,’ including myself.

She has personally experienced burnout, anxiety and severe fatigue whilst pursuing a career as a senior manager and a business owner. She found that the right food alongside biohacking (using science to create better lifestyle habits) enabled her turn her life around and become the best version of herself.
Now having retrained as a Nutritional Therapist she helps others reclaim their energy coaching them with a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan to help them perform better, lose weight, feel less stressed and anxious and reach their optimum health.

Using the power of the pilates method to build strength & feel great has never been easier! All you need is a mat and access to the internet.
To keep things fun and interesting, we do feature some workouts with equipment, such as light hand weights, a foam roller, or resistance bands, the pilates overball – but the equipment is always optional.
Yes! We have a bespoke pilates for beginners library that is designed to teach you everything you need to know and set you up for success on the mat! Following this programme is a great place to start if you are new as it will lay the foundations for you to progress to intermediate and then an advanced level of pilates if you stick with it and trust the process.
Additionally, your Bodytonic Library includes tutorials & modification videos to help you understand the pilates method. You will also have the support and guidance of Julie in your private Facebook community where you can ask questions! I am a nationally certified Body Control Pilates teacher and a member of the Body Control Association and hold membership with CIMSPA.
I hold externally validated certifications in Pilates for Chronic Low Back Pain, Pre and Post Natal Pilates, Pilates for Children and Young People and am working towards my Level 4 Advanced Pilates Qualification. I am matwork and reformer certified with Body Control.
I also hold a primary coaching certification in stress, health and wellbeing which I obtained from the Centre for Stress in London.
